Saturday 30th May saw the third annual Player's Award Night for Paisley United. The event was again held in a packed Ralston Community Halls. Special Guests on the night was Alan Gow of recently promoted Airdie United and SYFA Manager of Development Mitch Agnew. Club Chairman again praised the hard work put in over the Season by the players, parents and Officials of each age group last season. Once again the Club had been successful in the area of player development with 2 players in both the Under 17 and 19 National Squads and several additional players in Regional Squads at 15, 17 and 19 age groups. This year there had been trophy's added to the Club. The Under 17 and 19 age groups won their respective Glasgow City Cup Tournaments and the Under 19's won the 'B' Plate Competition at the USA Cup last summer. John also mentioned that the season was still not over as the Under 17's were in the League Cup Final and also had a play off match remaining to retain the League Championship. That said the awards were made and a great night was enjoyed by all. The awards for 2003 were as follows
